Chapter 1 is called Get Rich Quick — and the first thing it does is take the “quick” off the table.

  • The true story of feeling rich on $600 every two weeks — and what changed
  • How following the standard money playbook disqualified me from help when I needed it most
  • The one filter every hour of your time should pass through before you spend it

Listen to me right now

You are not in a season. You are in a strategy — and your strategy is broken.

Somebody reading this is stuck. You know you are stuck. You have been stuck so long that you started calling “stuck” your personality. You started calling it your season. You started calling it your testimony. But watch this. It is not your season. It is your strategy. And your strategy is broken.

Here is what nobody wants to tell you. The reason you do not have the life you want is not because the economy is bad. It is not because your boss is a jerk. It is not because you were born in the wrong zip code. The reason you do not have the life you want is because you have never, not one single time, owned your day. And if you cannot own your day, you will never own your life.

Own Your Day, Own Your Billion-Dollar Life is not a book. It is a mirror. And the first question it asks you is the question most people spend their whole lives running from. Must we die? Most folks do not want to talk about death. But the people who do not talk about death end up wasting their life. Because when you finally accept that the clock is running, you stop negotiating with the clock. You start obeying it.

A blueprint is not a suggestion. A blueprint is an instruction.

You get the Proximity Principle, because the five people closest to you are writing checks that your future has to cash, and you do not even know it. You get communication chapters that will make you cringe, because half the phrases coming out of your mouth are the same phrases keeping you broke. You get a hard look at social media — your greatest ally or your worst enemy, depending on whether you are the one using it, or the one being used by it.

Then we get to the money. Oh, we get to the money. Incurable Poverty. That is a chapter. And it is not about your bank account. It is about your belief system. If you have a broke mind, a million dollars will leave you faster than it came. Stop Renting Your Money. Get Rich Quick. Monetize Everything. Those are not just chapter titles. Those are corrections — corrections to the lies the world taught you about how money actually moves.

Somebody is going to say, “That sounds hard.” Good. It is supposed to be hard. Anything worth having is guarded by difficulty. That is why most people do not have it.

And it ends where every real book has to end. The Best Time To Start Is Now. Not Monday. Not January. Not when you feel ready. Now. Because ready is a feeling, and feelings are liars.

Scot Reynolds, author of Own Your Day, Own Your Billion-Dollar Life

About the author

Scot Reynolds doesn't write from a beach house.

Scot is a U.S. Army veteran who works full time as a federal corrections officer in rural Pennsylvania. He owns and manages rental property, runs a small publishing imprint, and has been building businesses since his first one — mowing lawns.

He wrote this book the same way he tells you to build your life: in owned hours. Early mornings, breaks, and Sundays, in the margins of a demanding job and a full plate. The audiobook is narrated by Scot himself, recorded one Sunday at a time.

Own Your Day, Own Your Billion-Dollar Life is not theory from someone who already made it. It's the working manual of someone building it right now — and writing down every correction along the way.
